At Limbert Mountain Farm, our aim is to provide you with excellent herbs, fresh seasonal produce and Simply Fine Foods created in our kitchen. We provide classes on growing and using herbs as well as cooking and dining experiences to enhance your appreciation of herbs and local, seasonal foods. In addition, we host several events in celebration of the changing seasons and the foods that are part of that season.

VALENTINES DAY - SETTING THE TABLE FOR ROMANCE.
Fine dining in a relaxed atmosphere. A combination Cooking & Dining Experience with Chef Dez, complete with candlelight, wine and music.
Seating at 6:00 pm.
5 courses, $75 per person. Includes 2 glasses of wine or other appropriate beverage. Does not include tax or gratuity. Recipes and preparation instruction provided. Space is
limited for this exclusive dining experience.

PASTRY WRAPPED HERBES DES PROVENCE CAMEMBERT
Locally produced camembert baked with herbes de provence vinaigrette in puff pastry.
SIMPLY FINE FOODS WINTER SALAD
A variety of greens & root vegetables from our garden, garnished with roasted nuts, locally produced feta cheese & pomegranate. Dressed with blueberry fig vinaigrette.
STEAMED MUSSELS IN RED WINE & GARLIC
A West Coast favorite. Served with our Rustic Italian Herb bread.
CHEF DEZ'S MEDITERRANEAN CHICKEN
Local goat cheese covered grilled chicken topped with sundried tomato & artichoke sauce infused with garlic, white wine, fresh lemon and basil. Served on a bed of herbed quinoa with fresh roasted vegetables from our garden.
CHOCOLATE PATE WITH RASPBERRY COULIS
A rich & compelling pate served with lavender shortbread.

WILD HERB IDENTIFICATION
"COOKING ON THE WILD SIDE"
Trudie will provide an introduction to identifying and utilizing edible wild herbs in unique ways to enhance the flavor and nutritional value of your meals. This session takes place on our mountain trails so dress in weather appropriate clothing. Claude will then welcome you to our cozy kitchen for a wildly delicious brunch, created from the naturally abundant foods. Cost is $55 per person.
~ COOKING & DINING EXPERIENCES ~
The following experiences have been designed to enhance your appreciation of fresh, local, seasonal foods, prepared in an intimate, casual
environment. Chef Dez creates each dish while you relax, enjoy 2 glasses of wine and learn some techniques to use in your own kitchen.
It is our pleasure to serve, teach and to entertain.
Classes consist of 4- 5 courses and include wine, or other appropriate beverage, and recipes. Pre-registration and payment is required and we
encourage you to register early to avoid disappointment. Your space is reserved once you register so we are unable to provide refunds.
Each class begins at 6:00 pm.
The cost is $60 per person and does not include tax or gratuity.

Thursday, Aug. 12 - BBQ NITE
- Mozza and Blueberry Stuffed Beef burgers
- Heirloom tomato and basil salad
- Roasted corn served with herb butter
- Marinated Chicken and vegetable kabobs on a bed of herbed quinoa
Friday, Sept. 17 - FRENCH CUISINE
- Salad de Lambert
- Pastry wrapped Herbes de Provence Camembert
- French Herb Marinated Roasted veggies
- Mediterranean Stuffed pork loin roast
- Chocolate Pate with Raspberry Coullis
Our Simply Fine Foods kitchen is available for private functions. Our meals are always from scratch and the majority of the food is either grown on our farm or sourced from other local producers. Contact us to register for your favourite classes before they fill up.
