TAKING BACK THE BACKYARD
This series of experiences is intended to stimulate your interest and provide some of the information necessary to "simply" grow and utilize herbs, vegetables and fruit.
We have been gardening organically for 30 years and we recognize a renewed interest in connecting with the foods that are seasonally available, fresher, and more delicious and nutritious. It is not necessary to have a large garden or a great deal of time. Even a deck garden can produce an amazing amount of food.
The cost for each class in the series is $25 per person. 50% of the fee will be used to promote gardening, local food production and environmental interests in Agassiz.
There will be opportunity to share your knowledge and your questions. The following description provides some of the subject matter that will be covered.
